R.H. Witt Heating & Sheet Metal is a family owned and operated business located in Glenview, IL. It was founded by Richard H. Witt Jr. in 1966. His sons Rick and Mike are the current owners of the company.

The company is a full service heating and air conditioning contractor that serves the North Shore, the north side of Chicago and the northwest suburbs.

Our goal is to have totally satisfied long term customers. We will achieve this by being responsive to our customer’s needs, through quality workmanship and by using the most dependable products available. The success of this goal will be measured through repeat business and referrals. We are so committed to your satisfaction that we provide a one year labor warranty and a lifetime workmanship warranty on all of our work

What a fantastic company to deal with!  Craig Heraty and his team at RH Witt were a delight from start to finish.  Consummate professionals.  From bidding a complex residential system (and then rebidding it when the engineer realized he sent the wrong bid docs) to installation, they were always pleasant, helpful, and eager to get everything right.  When the radiant heat didn't seem warm enough, they came back several times to reset the boiler temperature until it worked perfectly.  This was a complicated system and the installation was not easy. (Try carrying a 300 pound commercial hot water tank down a recently renovated stairwell without making a mark).  They did an amazing job.  I would recommend them without reservations.  And I don't say that often!

Our AC died on a day with high humidity and 89 degrees. We had a house full of family. Murphys Law! My neighbor referred me to RH Witt and Dan the service guy arrived next morning at 9am. He quickly identified the problem as a blown capacitor and had it replaced within an hour! Dan is a very friendly and knowlegeable service man, and was very pleasant. The repair cost was very reasonable, and if needed, we will be calling RH Witt again for any HVAC issues.

I investigate my major purchases almost to a fault. I just had a new Carrier furnace installed today and i would highly recommend RH Witt for all of your HVAC needs. Very professional knowledgeable and courteous for great price.
I am very glad i chose R H Witt.
