Two stars only because they kept appointment date and time. I had ordered a (glass) shower door from a home improvement store and upon delivery the boxes were absolutely destroyed. Luckily the shower door company did a terrific job packing so even though one box was completely ripped to shreds (and maniacally taped back together again by R+L) nothing appears to be broken, however I won't really know for sure until I am able to assemble the door. The wood shard inside the box is what I was greeted by upon lifting the already opened box where the glass was stored - the wood shard is from the wooden pallet.... quality job.

Excellent Service from start to finish. Estimates, scheduling, dispatch and the drivers are all top notch with operations centers nationwide that are responsive and knowledgable.  Very fair pricing for both domestic and international. R & L Carriers makes shipping our garden containers, ornament and antiques efficient and pleasant, down to being on a first name basis!  Most important, our customers always have good things to say about the delivery drivers who are courteous, uniformed and easy to reach.  Thank you R & L  for making us look good to our customers.

They persist in using a street in Ypsilanti even after an ordinance was passed prohibiting commercial truck traffic on Prospect Street. Other carriers who used it as cut through have stopped but R&L continues. Trucks through this residential area are really disruptive to our lives here are destructive to the roads that are not designed for such weight. The bridge ove the railroad near Michigan Avenue was not designed for such weight loads either.  I know they are a national carrier and don't concern themselves with such matters but I think it reflects poorly on the comapny and have to believe it proabaly is reflected in their customer service as well.

We live next to this business and they are disrespectful....they taunt my dogs daily  in my back yard and have no respect for the people who live next door to them who have children.
