A must - go for all those who love rock n roll. Not only because of the legend but also, because it's a great place to have fun and listen to good music with friends. Thy have a great variety of drinks, food is very good (I recommend the chicken BBQ pizza - AWESOME!!). The waitresses are super nice and the whole crew in general is really cool. Every time I go I feel like home, and they treat me like a friend. Hollywood wouldn't be the same without Rainbow Bar & Grill.

Food and drinks are cheap here. There is a door fee $9 dollars which you get a stamp and a Rainbow card on which you can use on any drinks or food. So remember to have money on hand when you go here.

Inside this place has real character and atmosphere.

I have heard so many stories about this place, and couldn't wait to experience it fir myself. Took my family for lunch on a hot LA day. We chose to sit inside. We had the place to ourselves. Ordered pizza and sandwiches. The food was good but the service could have been better. The waitress had zero personality and the guy outside was rude. I know that the place is legendary, but that only gets you so far. Customer service has to factor in somewhere. I'm glad we went, but I'm in no rush to go back.

Not gonna lie. Had an amazing night night at The Rainbow on a Wednesday live jam night. Trashy but in a super fun way.

Absolutely amazing...almost another version of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame loaded with historical character you could look at for hours and, of course, incredible food. Even something as simple as pizza tastes awesome. Okay, it's a little pricey but it's the essence of Hollywood and the Sunset Strip. All of the staff have had great personalities, can recommend the best on the menu and have stories to tell -it's impossible not to with the people who visit here (and you'll likely leave with one of your own eventually). It's a hit or miss if you're going to wait for a table or not, depending on when you go (we were seated immediately on a weeknight), but if you're visiting Hollywood you can't skip the Rainbow for a chain restaurant! The experience and food is worth the wait and if you have to park further away (the lot isn't very big) just walk. You won't be disappointed.
