We went to Rainbow to get a new vehicle for my senior grandson and a first car for my sophomore grandson. We were so pleased to work with Ricky Boone as a Salesman and Gary as the finance man for both of our purchases today. Ricky knew what we needed just from listing for a couple of minutes and took Logan straight to the truck he eventually bought. He was honest about a couple of things we didn't notice and when asked provided an opinion that helped us make a decision about which one to get for the sophomore grandson. This was one of the most pleasant car shopping experiences we've had. 

Then it was time to work out financing. Gary was able to negotiate extremely low interest rates for both vehicles and helped manage both loans at affordable terms.

I love the Rainbow dealership and look forward to working with them in the future on other purchases.

Great group of people. Sales staff are friendly and make the car buying experience very relaxing. Service department always take care of our vehicles in a timely manner. I'd recommend this dealership and its team to anyone I know.

Awesome experience with Rainbow again! Bought my new car there several years ago and just bought a used car for my son. Both times things went smoothly. Big thanks to Ivy Pittman on getting us into the car for my son so quickly! He was so quick to get back to us throughout the whole process and made things so easy!

The first salesperson we dealt with ignored what we wanted to sell us a vehicle that he would make more money on. We gave our list of criteria and were told they didn’t have the car we wanted but had one similar to it. Came back to look at it again and he wasn’t there, so gave our list of criteria to another salesperson. She immediately showed us the exact car we wanted that had been on the lot so long that it wasn’t going to make them much money but they wanted to get rid of it. Literally every. Single. Detail. Of our criteria. First salesperson flat out lied to us. 

Financing department was a nightmare. I have impeccable credit. Finance manager told we interest was going to be great, 6.9%. Haha! I ask if that was the best rate that I could get with my 788 credit score. “Oh, yeah the interest rates are sky high right now...” was his reply. I explained that I could get a %5 rate through my company financing and that the only reason I even entertained going with dealer financing was because they told me they could get me a rate between 3 and 4 percent. Miraculously, he dropped it down to %4.9. Then I told him I wanted to leave and come back after I thought about it, another miracle happened! The Gods of auto loans smiled down upon us and so graciously blessed us with %3.6!

After this post I received this email:
“Mr. Andrew this is (Finance Manager) from rainbow. I'm sorry you didn't like how I handled your financing. I've been working here for almost seven years. It's very rare that I have a customer that is mad about their experience. Over the past 7 months rates have been increasing but I did in fact get you a great rate after trying with another bank. The reason I am. So. Passionate about gap is because I had to use it in the worst way. The girl I was engaged to died in a car wreck. Vehicle was in my name. Gap paid the 2500 I would have owed and the paid the deductible. It was a difficult time in my life. I'm sorry if you felt like I pushed gap on you to buy. It was only because gap would ensure the loan would be paid in full instead of you having to pay any extra money. I have nothing to hide on the rates. When you put more money down I got chase to give you a better rate. Attached are the two approvals. One is the good rate. The other is the higher rate. I just wanted you know that I was being completely honest with you on this purchase. If I can do anything to help you going further I will. I apologize if I came off too aggressive on gap to you.”

So, basically, “Sorry, not sorry.”

Bottom line. Don’t finance through Rainbow Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of McComb unless you like getting lied to and jerked around. I recommend the salesperson we had, Katie Dillon. She was honest with us. Hope this review is helpful.
