Unbelievably overpriced. The much-lauded produce section, which most people say is the only reason they bother shopping here, is not as spectacular as people say. The self checkout registers also are painfully slow with inaccurate scales.

Overpriced. The only item I used to go here for was the tri-tip when it went on sale. Well, now half the stores in town have tri-tip at Raley's "sale price" but they have it at that price all the time, so I don't even need to waste my time looking at their weekly sales ad anymore. Also, the employees are not friendly unless you are a regular customer dressed in designer clothing and have obnoxious beastly children. On more than one occasion I was treated very rudely by the cashiers for no reason, after I watched them chat it up with the customer in front of me and then skipped over to chat with the customer in line behind me. I'm not important enough to THEM for their lame inside jokes. Thankfully.

Raley's has, and continues to be, one of my favorite stores. Good bulk food section and a nice variety of other food items. Only thing this one is lacking is an oriental takeout, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

Our granddaughter works at the raleys in gardnerville, we like the cleanliness and variety of products.
