I have been taking lessons with Downs for ~ 6 months now. He teaches violin/fiddle, and I specifically chose him for an instructor because he can teach Irish and bluegrass styles. He is a great teacher! I am an adult student and was really nervous when I first started lessons. He knows when to push and when to encourage a student. I would highly recommend him for kids and adults who want to take up violin. Also, everyone who works at the front desk is very personable and friendly! Hi, Paul!

For music lessons in Orange County it just doesn't get any better than Rancho Canyon. The teachers are all knowledgeable, reliable, and personable. They have all the materials you need, and if they don't they'll happily get them for you quickly. I still travel there from Corona when I need certain things simply because I know they'll take care of me better than the local music stores will. Highly recommended.

Our son has been taking guitar lessons here for several years and I can only say good things about this place. The focus is always on the kids. Our son"s guitar instructor is organized, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned for our son and his progress. The owner, Craig, is like family, and continues to support and promote all the kids (and adult students) at the school. This is a great place to learn and enjoy music and we highly recommend it.
