Absolutely love this cafe! The food and coffee are great, especially their pastries and cardamom coffee latte. The service is pretty fast, which is perfect when you're on a tight schedule. The layout is quirky and interesting, but I think it adds to the charm of the place. Despite it being constantly busy, there's always a nook available for working or catching up with friends. It's become my go-to spot for work. Highly recommend!
Delicious and authentic espresso and tea. The sizes are smaller than commercial coffee chains but the taste is way better. I recommend the Marocchino this is a smaller mocha drink and I also tried the seasonal spiced orange espresso latte. Both were delicious. Much larger on the inside of the building then it appears as well. There is a parking lot behind the building.
Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, this local cafe is a true haven for coffee enthusiasts. The coffee here is more than just a drink; it's a flavorful journey that captivates the taste buds with its richness and well-balanced blend. The ambiance is nothing short of excellent, providing a cozy retreat from the hustle and bustle outside. With warm tones and comfortable seating, it's an ideal spot for both solitude and socializing. The star of the show, however, is undoubtedly the pastries. Each bite reveals a symphony of flavors, from buttery croissants to decadent cakes. Despite its unassuming menu, the simplicity is a testament to the focus on quality. Every item, though straightforward, is a culinary masterpiece. The cafe's charm lies in its commitment to delivering a memorable experience through exceptional coffee, inviting surroundings, and delectable pastries. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just seeking a delightful treat, this establishment is a must-visit. In a world of complexity, this local gem thrives on the simplicity of great coffee, excellent ambiance, and delicious pastries, making it a highly recommended destination for anyone with a penchant for quality and comfort.
My first impression, RB struck me as a bit of an old-school 1960s hippie-style coffee shops working to exude a laid-back and bohemian atmosphere. There are a few plants at RB, not the abundance of plants in hand thrown clay pots and macrame that created a lush and earthy ambiance of the hippie spots. RB does have severely worn terrazzo floors reminiscent of the worn, rustic floors and eclectic decor that added to vintage charm in the old-school spots. These coffee shops prioritize a relaxed vibe, encouraging patrons to linger and enjoy their time; I think RB does that. When it comes to their offerings, these places are known for their genuine commitment to quality. They take pastry making and coffee brewing seriously, using premium ingredients and methods. The result is a menu filled with delectable pastries and meticulously brewed coffee that reflects the care and dedication of the era's counterculture movement. Overall, these coffee shops provide a unique blend of nostalgia, tranquility, and culinary excellence, imo.
Rare bird is my absolute favorite local coffee shop the best matcha, croissants, and pour overs. They have such kind owners and the pastries and coffee are delicious. I have been coming here for 4 years and they're always bringing in new fun treats, new roasts, and new plants. They've expanded quite a bit so it's a bit easier to get a table during the week. Weekends are pretty hectic, but the line moves quickly. It's nice to see how popular they are, really love to see a local business succeeding! Parking: Parking behind and across the street near cvs Kid-friendliness: They have toys and books for kids at the front near drink pickup Wheelchair accessibility: Enter through the front closest to the intersection for a ramp!
Love this coffee shop. Variety in both coffee and food options. Seating options may be limited, especially during prime time, and because of this it can get loud. If you’re looking for the cafe vibes and a hustling backdrop, this is the right place. Poorly Pictured is the roasted tomato and egg biscuit highly recommend. This + chai latte makes my morning!
Large space and a modern aesthetic! For a Monday morning it was pretty busy. There was a line but it moves fast. Lots of pastry and breakfast sandwich options available. I got their strawberry almond croissant and an iced mocha. Both were good! Inside they have several plants for sale and even propagated second chance plants available as well which I loved. There’s a good amount of seating available but most was taken; it’s clearly a popular spot. There’s a free parking lot in the back which is helpful too.
First of all, the coffee is delicious, I ordered a Cortado and my wife a Cardmam vanilla latte, and both are delicious. For sandwiches, I ordered a bacon, egg, cheese, and herb egg white sandwich. It was nice to have a lot of clean and small flower pots. It is a place I want to visit again next time.Food: 5/5
Love the Bird! Open, airy café, with lots of seating. Delicious coffee. I had a cardamom vanilla latte, which was beautifully presented and tastes delicious. Espresso is smooth, not bitter. March 2024. Here again. Butterscotch latte was subtle and lovely. The buckwheat scone didn’t have a lot of flavor, TBH. Calm, lovely atmosphere at Rare Bird.
Did a coffee cupping class this past weekend and the coffees we sampled were very tasty. Unfortunately, I have yet to try any specialty drinks, but my wife ordered herself a drink and something to eat and was impressed with both. We would definitely come back here!Food: 4/5
