Make the Rawlins KOA your Home Base for Outdoor Adventure this summer!

Story

Rawlins KOA makes a great base camp for trips throughout the Carbon County area. The "Old Pen" and Carbon County Museum are a treasure trove of Wild West history. Miracle Mile is an angler's paradise. Snowy Range Scenic Byway and Battle Highway scenic drive are spectacular! Martin's Cove and Independence Rock depict the move west by our ancestors. Play a round of golf at the award-winning Rochelle Ranch Golf Course. If a quick stopover is in your plans, the Rawlins KOA is your best bet with easy on/off from I-80. Guests appreciate the clean showers and restrooms, playground, off-leash pet area, 24-hour laundry facility and other camper conveniences!

This was a very nice place to stay one night. I am sure it would be a great place to stay longer if you were checking out the area. Because of the location don't expect trees on your site. The staff is very friendly and nice. Sites are good size and we got what we asked for. Also the sites are pretty level.

This KOA is just what you would expect if you just need to rest and get a good night sleep. The manager was not very welcoming and was not very friendly. She must have been having a terrible day. Despite our attempts to add some levity to her day she miserable. The facilities were clean. I would stay here again if need be.

Very terrible place. Owner is extremely mean and greedy, very confrontational and rude. Stole money from poor college students. Won't speak to guests on the phone or in person. Did not honor reservation then Double charged for one night and will not refund. The owner must need money very badly to charge for services not received. I feel she stole from us. Hope she enjoys her ill gotten gains.

A decent overnite stop on way to the Tetons, or coming from. FU, but very tight. No space between neighbors. Walk out your door, see the stinky hose from neighbor. HOWEVER, the location is great. Views are decent. And it's a great overnite stop. Not great, not bad. It works.

We were disappointed and appalled at the poor and rude attitude of the people on duty. We made reservations in February letting them know we needed a 70 ft site. We traveled 7 hours to get there, and found they had given away the long sites!! They were NOT apologetic or accommodating!!! In fact, they didn't take responsibility for their error on their own website! At 6:30 PM, my husband and I had to find other arrangements!! If I could rate this place a zero, I would!!! Sincerely, Kay Fahnholz
