What a nice spot! Great hiking all around, beautiful and lots of water and wildlife. Bring water or be able to purify/filter, says there is water but there is no functioning well. You have to go to town as the other wells in the park are inoperable. We visited early July and the mosquitos are pretty intense. A screen tent to hang out in was the best thing we brought with. Enjoy!

Really beautiful spot for those of us who enjoy primative campgrounds. 11 sites. Vault toilets were clean. Hand pump for the well in the campground was working fine when we were there at the end of July (clean, cold water). Saw moose, deer and elk during our weekend. Trail North of campground has many downed trees across the trail (beetle kill). No trash service; pack it in, pack it out.
