We had a wonderful evening meal celebrating our anniversary. We had a reservation and sat on the roof top patio on the 4th floor. Wonderful view, saw the full moon rise and lights in the city. The food was great, as was the service. The patio is not as formal as seating inside, but it made for a nice quiet evening. Started with the Wedge Salad and the Field Greens. Field Greens was the favorite. Both had the Grilled Salmon which was excellent and ended the meal with the Chocolate Chunk Bread Pudding and the Dutch Oven Apple Crisp. I favored the Apple Crisp, but both were good.
We really want to love this place after reading all the great review and raves, but we couldn’t. If you have to order something from here, stick with the American/southern food. We didn’t enjoy the Mexican food- way off from enjoyable taste. The service is excellence. They did not charge us for the food we didn’t like. The restaurant itself has nice decor and ambience.
Our wedding lunch in the dome of the Reatta was a great experience! We had a set menu with an open bar. The staff was wonderful- super friendly and very attentive. And the food was delicious! After looking at the pictures of the dome online we opted for the tablecloth rental, giving the venue a much "wedding" venue feel. Highly recommended. Note that on a sunny day, although air conditioned, the dome can feel a bit warm.
We absolutely loved it. We have eaten at the Reata in Alpine as well and this was our first time here. The blackened trout was amazing as was the tortilla soup. We came for lunch but did make a reservation ahead of time - it get’s pretty busy. Recommend Disfruta/Enjoy!
We were on the rooftop for a wedding rehearsal, it was awesome. The staff was very friendly, and good at their jobs. They were helpful and on top of making sure guests had drinks, appetizers, and then there was the food. Omg, the food was great, i especially enjoyed the bacon wrapped shrimp. However, my wife and friends enjoyed the tamales. They were very good and a very unique take on tamales. My wife loved it. I’m not big on any tamale, but it was good. Overall this place was great, fun atmosphere, both on the main floor and on the roof top. Would go again.
Took my Girlfriend here for Christmas Eve Eve dinner and the food was very good! Unfortunately we didn’t ask for rooftop seating and sat downstairs in the normal dining room! The atmosphere downstairs was mediocre at best, felt like I was in a western themed restaurant. But after dinner we visited the rooftop and WOW we were blown away! Do yourself a favor and book upstairs when you go! The tamales were outstanding btw!
You're not just in Texas, you're in Ft Worth, just a mile or so away from the Fort Worth stockyards. Of course you're going to eat steak. Both the ribeye and the beef tenderloin were exceptional along with the service. Had the calamari and the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos for appetizers and the apple cobbler with ice cream for dessert. All of it... Excellent! It's known for it's fine dining experience and it did not disappoint!
I ordered the carne asada & enchilada plate and it was delicious. The presentation was exquisite! The chicken fried steak was good, lacked a little more salt to my taste but the vegetables it came with were yummy. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and exceled to deliver us a perfect and memorable outting on our Anniversary. Good luck choosing a desert, we hard trouble- they all looked enticing. The molten chocolate cake with drunken berries and vanilla cream was extraordinary. Thank you for a wonderful time
Reata Ft. Worth came highly recommended and I see why! I’m bummed that they will be closing as I didn’t get to hangout on the rooftop for drinks having gone at lunch. The food was very flavorful and I was loving the desserts. If they open another location, believe me, I’ll be there!
My fiance took me for Valentines day! Only choices were their main course choices so limited! Steak was raw when asked for MR green beans were uncooked...salads were very good and of course deserts were good!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
