Story

I have admired the art of restoring and repurposing antique furniture for as long as I can remember. I have recently decided to participate in this art. I enjoy working with wood and restoring an antique piece of furniture to its original glory while maintaining the furniture's natural integrity. I will also take in a piece that is beyond perfect repair and create something I that design myself- repurpose it. My personal style falls somewhere between classic-traditional and rustic-modern but I have also been commissioned to create some less conventional, quirky pieces as well- always a fun task.
My work is thorough. I want to create something that is quality and will be able to be enjoyed for years to come, in your home or mine. I create all of my pieces as though they are being made for my own family. I create my own paint mixes and often mix my own stains to create the perfect tones. I sand the pieces that are painted rather than simply painting over the previous color. All of my pieces are finished to be used- not merely displayed- and maintain their beauty. The quality of my craftsmanship is in all of these details.
