The food here tastes great! The crab rangoons are some of the best I have ever had. We also had the honey chicken, bourbon chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and pad thai. All amazing. I'm giving it 4 stars though because most places give you enough meat in a combo for dinner and lunch the next day. These combos are very heavy with rice or noodles and very little meat. It makes it hard to justify the cost. The flavor is so good, I will most likely try it again just to see if it was a one time issue. I will update if something changes.
We ordered dinner, but unfortunately it was all wrong. The dumplings had a funny aftertaste, the fried meat Wontons, yuck-hard- thumbs down, and the white rice was hard- just wasn’t good. I ordered general Taos chicken mild and it was way too spicy. Even peppers on top. Very disappointing. Will not eat here ever again.
Their Mei Fun is pretty good- more Singapore style Not quite like Bee/Mee Hoon from Penang. They stopped serving bone in bbq ribs. Prefer that to boneless personal preference. The eggplant, Broccoli and tofu dishes are also very tasty.
My favorite is general tso chicken, the first time I ordered it, I thought it was too sweet, but today I asked them to make it extra spicy, and it's spot on, would recommend to anyone.
Inedible food. Ordered wonton soup and chicken with mixed vegetables. The crispy noodles for the soup were stale and the wonton noodles were thick & doughy. The chicken was inedible and tasted like rubber. A snow pea had black spots all over it. Will not be returning.
Awesome food and the Chicken Wings are great
House Fried rice is pretty good with generous amount of fresh shrimp. Their wings that everyone raves about were overcooked and their oil needs to be changed. Hot and sour was not sour and was over seasoned with pepper. Gen Chicken was very low quality freezer chicken with too much breading. The Gen Chicken sauce was good. I will not be returning.
First they made wrong order and then the pad thai was super sweet even if I told them to make it spicy. There was hardly any vegetable and dish was pad thai with vegetable.
Order and eat from this restuarant about twice per week. Always busy, and the food is so much better than other "fast food" type Chinese restaurants on the Northshore. This place has flavor and is fresh...unlike others I have tried. Soups are so good that I order quart size to eat over 2 days. BUSY...if you need a big order, don't expect it to be ready in 10 minutes. They cook everything fresh and give you a realistic time to pick up usually within 20 minutes or so. Good price, great food!
The overall rating of this place was higher than most...around 4.2 so we tried it. Huge mistake. Yes, the food is really hot even if you get delivery. It's really poor quality meat. We are familiar with eating joints and "knobby bits" from whole chickens but this was different. It was more rubbery and didn't have any flavor. We won't be back.
