When I called them to schedule a pick up, I asked if I can pay by credit card, they said yes. The day before my scheduled day, I called again to confirm if my order still in their system, and if I can pay by credit card, they said yes. The cab arrived on time, but by the time I got into the car, the driver ask me if I can pay cash? I said his company told me, I will be able to use card. Then the driver said, his machine broken, (but he used it to print receipt after I paid cash ), if I need use credit card, I must look for another cab. I lucky prepared some cash the day before, so I don't need stuck by the critical payment condition. Then the driver got a video phone call, he was talking with someone over the phone for a few minutes when he was driving. It's about 30 minutes from my home to the airport, he spent about 20 minutes texting by using multiple devises including cell phone, mini pad when he was DRIVING. I will never come back again.

I've used Red Cab several times in my life. And everytime I do I'm not sure why I keep going back. For the last few times I've used Red Cab the dispatchers have been rude because I wanted to cancel a cab that wouldn't be picking me up for 20 something minutes. I've had late drivers pick me up. I'm really just tired. The only thing I can say that I like about Red Cab are the drivers themselves - always nice and personable. But I'm too tired to deal with the rest. Riding in my last Red Cab as we speak.

I called at 9:55 and since it was a Saturday evening I understood the delay time of 20-30 mn but I ended up calling to ask about my cab but they said there were no taxis in my area, I live in Cicero which is not far from cicero. After waiting for  an hour and I called to cancel and walked home at 11. Very disappointed next time ill just call another cab company.

Cab picked me up immediately. Friendly service and I got to my destination on time. 😃

I can't say that every single time has been bad with us and Red Cab.  We have had times when it was fine but we had one driver tonight who was just awful.

We ordered a cab to pick us up at Midway and drive us back to Lombard.  The driver (Cab #26) was mostly on time.  When we flagged him down he popped open his trunk and didn't even get out of his cab to help us.  We got in and both said, "Hi" and he didn't even say hi back, just "where are you going and how do I get there."

We told him Lombard and then he called the company to see what the rate for Lombard was - I guess he didn't know...I could've told him because we've taken them before.  Anyway, he asks us how to get there then argues with us when we make a suggestion that we think would be faster.  He told us our suggestion wouldn't work for him.

Because he went about 10 miles out of his way to go the route he wanted, he had to stop for gas before he got us home.  So we waited even longer.  We finally got to our place and when we pulled out a card he said, "oh you can't help me with cash" and we said we were sorry but we only had a card (all of those cabs take cards by the way).  

At the end, again, we said thank you just to be polite and he grunted something back and popped his trunk again.  Didn't even ask if we needed help getting our bags out of the trunk.

Again, not all cabs we've gotten have been this bad but CAB #26 is AWFUL and RUDE.
