Stayed here in April 2017. When we arrived, we found out that the hotel was undergoing renovations. That wasn't an issue. What was the issue was our room. We reserved the suite and the Jacuzzi tub was awful. It was dirty and there was a some kind of sponge that was left in the room. We also found an old key card in the room. My wife went to ask for another room and when she returned, she just walked into the room. The key card reader didn't work and the door didn't lock. When we moved into a downgraded room, the refrigerator was loud all night. My wife opened the door to the bathroom and a price of the door fell off. Because of the remodel, the pool and Jacuzzi area were closed. When we checked out the next day, we were offered a free night. Due to my wife being diagnosed with cancer, we finally were able to make it back mid September 2017. They honored the free night. We found out that construction is still in going. We weren't put in the suite, but a room with 2 queen. The newly remodeled room is nicer. No smell, but the curtains were paper. Apparently, they haven't received all their furniture to complete the remodel. There weren't any chairs to sit, and no place to hang our clothes. The towels is were laying on the luggage stand, as there were no racks in the bathroom. The bathroom door doesn't close, unless your standing in the shower. If we hadn't received the free night, we would have left. They stay is very friendly and helpful. Even after 6 months of remodel, they have a long way to go. We won't stay again, even after the remodel is completed.

They are definitely in a construction phase!!! Sure it will be a nice place when they get finished. As long as I get some sleep I will be happy...

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation. The 'room' with the bathtub and toilet is so small you can barely turn around​ but the shower had great pressure and was clean. Bed was comfortable.

Read the reviews before staying here! I had been on the road for a week. Me and my companions wanted a hot tub and a fitness room for accommodations. We called and booked a room because they had those listed on their website as accommodations. We would have stayed at any hotel within 60 miles that offered those things. Upon arrival the hotel was getting renovated. They accidentally put us in the wrong room, but they were sweet about fixing it. The halls were dirty and had drywall flakes everywhere. That doesn't bother me much tho. The key cards didn't work well. Every 10 swipes it would register. The hot tub was cold. When I told the receptionist she wasn't concerned and said it must be broken. Then we discovered that the fitness room was unavailable during renovations. At this point it was late and we weren't about to try and find another place. Red lion has promptly responded to my concerns, but they have not offered any sort of discount or refund. I would have preferred to spend $80 at a basic motel and not spend $132 for a hotel that offers amenities that don't exist. I always reccomended the red lion in my home town, but considering how ripped off I feel I will need to find another reccomendation for company. Hopefully these renovations will be done soon, but seeing old reviews it sounds like they've been going on as far back as April.

Renovation is good, but bathroom is too small, no hooks to hang coat, no closest. Breakfast eggs look like a child's toy.
