This is one of the few nice restaurants in Sumter. I have been on many occasions and I always enjoy the food. The Coconut Shrimp are my favorite. And on the rare occasion that I'll go out for a drink, my choice is the Malibu Hurricane that they make there. I have had them at other places but non have even come close! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice place to go for dinner in Sumter.

Best red lobster ever. Kitchen manager always has new fresh fish to try. The other night he had some sockeye such was incredible. Ask for a mango smoothie with ice cream. It does not disappoint.

First walked in and there was no one there to greet us at the door. Once our name was called, we were seated without the booster seat that i asked for. We sat down with no utensils, so I had to send my daughter to get some in order for me to eat my salad. The only thing that helped them to get 2 stars was our server Cindy. Once she realized that my utensils was missing, she quickly got us some. Fast forward to our food, my flounder was missing from my Admirals Feast and the strips tasted as if they were fried in old grease. Cindy apologized on behalf of the restaurant and she corrected my order. She really went out of her way to accommodate us. Even though my bill was discounted by management (stand-in, kitchen management never came out) and Cindy cleaned up the restaurant's mess, I will never dine here again! Worst experience I ever had with a Red Lobster. Thankfully I do not live in this town and Was only here for a dance recital.

We walked in at 915pm. A servers nightmare.  However John treated us like royalty. His customer service was superb. Made the kids feel special too. All our food was fresh and piping hot. We dont frequent large chains very often but we would go back solely based on his customer service and attentiveness to us. Thank you.

We used to be regular customers at Red Lobster in Sumter, but for the 3rd time we have experienced very bad service. Once we spent about 30 minutes waiting for a waitress to serve our table and later the one that came was very inefficient. We were waiting for our food and drinks for a long time and finally when the food arrived it was cold. Another day we waited for almost 35 minutes to be seated and people that came after us got to seated first . Last time, this past Saturday was the worst. The waitress took a long time to even come to the table and assist us or even to bring some additional dressing that was requested 2 times.  She never filled our drinks not even once, the food was cold and bad . Very disappointing and expensively bad experience.
