The most authentic restaurant in SF Opened since 1955, the restaurant's still famous among locals and even more with tourists. I took a double hot dog with sourdough + fries and beer ; my goodness, it was so delicious! A bit pricy I think I paid around 25 dollars but we ate outside behind the restaurant. Contemplating the Bay Bridge while eating is something one appreciates! I love to share my culture and my love of life with everyone Jerome the French teacher
If you ever find yourself craving a burger while in the city, here you go! Been coming here for a while! Single cheeseburger, fries, onion rings to die for. Oh and they also have a special day of the week menu! You'll have to check them out to see those specials, but those are yummy too! Great service, great view, right off the Embarcadero, and the dining room is open. Love this place!

Lovable Dive. Its ON the waterfront, OVER the water. Parking is all around it, plenty of parking. We liked the food, ww had breakfast quesadilla and pancakes with Java. Service was personable and good. We will come again for lunch. Oh, I forgot to mention the bar in back where we looked out at the cruise ship docked close by across the parking lot. Must be fun in the evening. Bar was featured in a TV series with Billy Bob Thorton. Parking: Easy, close, $4
It is exactly what it looks like. A place to get a fast, cheap burger & beer. And eat it while enjoying the ocean air and the bay bridge. Oh, and the burger is served on a *sourdough* bun - nice!
Interesting historical spot with a lot of character. The food was cheap but not very good - my pancake tasted like it was made from a mix and the eggs were a bit overdone. It was also pretty cold in there on a chilly day.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
This place is low key but definitely has its own vibe. Good food, friendly staff and a comfortable setting. Thanks for a great visit!Food: 5/5
What a fantastic place! The Breakfast Quesadilla was out of this world. The prices are more than reasonable- considering the quality you're getting. The portions are big- so you might consider ordering a few different dishes and sharing. I highly recommend it.
Nobody comes here for great service or because the food was amazing... I had a chili burger and it was terrible... I ate the little tiny burger paddy disk and a little chili... I red reviews that the burgers were good, I should have just had the burger... I've seen this place my whole life having been born here and learning to drive here... I'll stick to coffee next time, they have that down solid.
Best fish n chips hands down. Perfect view be it at the patio , or inside the time warp machine. Been told this place has survived for over 69 years. Everything about this place says san francisco. If you don't come to grab a bite here you're not doing san francisco right or justice. Trust me you won't be disappointed Food: 5/5
