Red's has a great selection of quality sneakers, boots, and casual shoes.  Some of their employees also have specialized training in footwear, which had been a terrific help to me.  I want to specifically recognize Kelly, who helped me find new sneakers for my flat, overpronating feet. More recently, she helped me again when I exchanged hiking boots I bought without assistance, that didn't end up fitting well once I wore them around the house for a few days. I would definitely recommend Red's, and their highly trained and knowledgeable staff!!!

Great selection of shoes even though the price can be high at times.  Couple of the star deduction comes into play when employees aren't as helpful or they assume by one's look that the service can differentiate.  What I mean by that, the customer in front of me were asked about the rewards program while I was only told the total.  Or getting brushed off because I just strolled in with my work clothes.  If you're a minority and/or don't look well dressed expect to be treated a little different.  Almost felt uncomfortable to be honest.  

Little do they know some of the things sold at this store is in fact designed by someone I know personally including some well known brands.  It almost has this 'old money' type of mentality (even though they're in Dover...) I've seen in Portsmouth.  The younger employees are definitely have been helpful in the kids department.

Nice selection,  friendly staff.  Very narrow isles.  The building has three floors and only stairs.  Those with limited mobility would be limited to first floor.

Went in just a few minutes ago with an exchange which had a defect. The store was crazy busy and the manager immediately came to us and asked about our exchange. He found and replaced them and we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. 

Best experience with an exchange ever!
