In Response to your last comment, invoice here is an exact copy of the invoice that I received, where are the fees? Not under fees where I would assume you would want that... they appear afterwards on my cc statement. Also would knowing that this is through trip actions help? I stated it was through a 3rd party portal.. this is the one. Is it still the 3rd column? My point is don't partner with portals that don't portray you honestly otherwise it puts you in a bad position.

After inquiring about a property on the VRBO website and inputting my credit card information to reserve that property, RedAwning sent an email that said the property I had reserved was not available and instead gave me a list of lesser quality properties that I could reserve. I basically said no thanks and did not want to rent with RedAwning. I assumed since the property I had reserved through VRBO was unavailable that my credit card would not charged. However after looking at my statement they had indeed charged my card $14,180.70. I have tried calling the customer service line several times which has a recording that says "If you would like us to call you back please press one." However, pressing one does not get you anywhere and doesn't transfer you to any one. I have also emailed RedAwning and they haven't answered my email at all. I would like my $14,180.70 credited to my account ASAP as they told me in the beginning that my original property inquiry was unavailable.

The location is very good for families. The access to the beach was wonderful and we felt safe. The unit we rented was in serious need of updating with new appliances. Some things didn't work but it didn't impact us overall. The management was very good but off site and difficult to locate after a long drive.

ATTENTION! I had booked two nights (Friday to Sunday) at a RedAwning facility for my family and me. The confirmation e-mail said that I could check in at 4:00 pm at the earliest. We arrived accordingly shortly past 4:00 pm. At the facility we were told that we couldn’t get the keys here but had to call a number that they gave us at that facility. So we did. An automated voice told us to wait on the phone or hang up and we would get a call back within 1 day but usually within 1 hour or so. After waiting for generous period of time I hung up. In fact we got a call back about 6:15 pm. They gave us another phone number of a local office where we could get the keys (they didn’t give us the address though). I called that office number but we only reached an answering machine because the office had already closed at 5:00 pm. So we checked into another apartment (of another provider with reasonable check in times) for one night and paid accordingly. The next day (Saturday) we were able to get hold of that local RedAwning office and got our keys. Before I signed the contract I altered the check-in date so that it was reflecting the true check in date (Saturday and not Friday). When back home I blocked the RedAwning payment through my credit card company and proposed to pay one night to RedAwning because we only had stayed for one night at their facility. And from my view it was not my fault that I couldn’t check in on Friday. Later I was contacted by my credit card company that the RedAwning payment for two nights was released. And here it comes: my credit card company forwarded a contract that had the Friday as check-in date AND my signature. I had never signed this contract. WOW! Must have been some mysterious X-file thing going on. Or maybe there is a more trivial answer to that? To sum it up: I ended up paying three nights for a two nights stay. So here why I think RedAwning is not a good service company (to say the least): 1. I had only 1 hour(!) to check in. No check in after 5:00 pm. What Hotel does that?! 2. I had to pick up the keys from a different place than I stayed. Unpractical. 3. I left my cell phone number when I did the booking. Why didn’t I receive a call from that local office before they closed? They just left at 5:00 pm. 4. No further comment on the contract that they sent to my credit card company. RedAwning: NEVER again.
