Used to love going to this theater. When my wife and I showed up 45 minutes before the movie only to have access to the first 3 rows, that did it for me. I will not be forced into assigned seating. The theater should always be a first come first to sit experience. I love the new seats, but WILL not go back or to any other theater with this practice. I can wait 2 days after a release and watch it in the comfort of my own home. I really enjoy the movie going experience, or did. I understand seats are removed to make way for larger seating. It can still be controlled as to not over-sell tickets and everyone gets a seat.

Friendly staff and decent food! Good popcorn too. The theater itself is a little pricier than average but is well worth it. The seats recline almost all the way back and are very comfortable. I love assigned seating, due to not having to worry about your seating if you're running slightly later then you'd like to get a good seat. The front rows aren't any good of course like any other theater so unless you like those seats I would recommend choosing another showtime if that's all that's left assigned seating wise.

Love coming here. They remodeled the entire theatre to outfit each auditorium with powered recliner seats. The food selection menu has also been updated to include a variety of local Asheville brews. The theatre is located in the trendy Biltmore Park with a number of places to frequent I'd you need to burn time before your movie starts.

I used to really like this theater, but after their recent updates, I'm never coming to this theater again. Since they've changed the seats, the theaters have drastically less seats, making the movies sell out quickly. The seats themselves are very comfortable; however, there is no way to recline just the back of the seat, you must first extend the feet and then the back. We were seated far too close to the screen (our first time here after the seats being replaced so we didn't realize how close we were) and found this aspect of the seats extremely irritating, as well as very uncomfortable for anyone with neck and back problems. The staff was helpful but management was not, keeping us waiting 10 minutes just to be told they couldn't do anything except give us a refund.

This is a nice clean theatre. Salty popcorn. Most comfy seats. I have to have the close caption device. I've never a problem one. My favorite theatre.
