I was a very regular visitor here until I gave feedback about a bad-looking screening and the manager reacted like it was an argument and a confrontation.

The response was surprising and profoundly awkward. Probably the worst customer experience I've ever had.
This was enough for me to actually feel cheated for all the times I've visited here before. To be practically yelled at by the manager like I'm one of her employees simply for reporting a problem. (And no I did not ask for a refund or anything else in return for my reporting that the movie I just sat through looked bad.)

A shockingly bad experience, meeting the manager of this theater. After years of going here, oftentimes multiple times a month, to be treated that way out of the blue by the person who runs this place was just so massively off-putting.

small update: I see a more recent review here praising a manager named Samantha. This is not the name of the person who I wrote about. I don't feel comfortable naming employees in a public complaint, but thought it necessary to clarify that the manager who I mentioned in my review was not named Samantha and I don't think I ever met her.
That said -- some months later and it has been surprisingly easy to not go back to this theater.

After having a miscommunication with my ticket purchase I had asked to speak to the manager which happened to be Samantha that day. I can't stress enough how wonderful she was to us that night. She completely handled the situation gracefully and was completely understanding. Thank you for that night Samantha! We will see you again 😊

I can’t stress this enough... this is not a comfortable theatre. The seats are FAR TOO CLOSE TOGETHER to even have space to get through the isles without quite literally disrupting the other patrons by making them stand up to let you through. I’ve literally never seen seats this close together. It’s like an airplane. 

Also, the theatre is quite expensive compared to all the other options in Austin, including the lovable Alamo Drafthouse. I just don’t understand how this theatre is still open. It wasn’t a pleasant experience other than just having an IMAX screen, which isn’t enough considering said other options. 

Finally, and possibly most importantly, the movie started 30 MINUTES LATE. It was to the point that the whole theatre (which was very full for an opening day screening of The Last Jedi) was grumbling audibly about why the movie hadn’t started and we were all staring at a black screen for half an hour. 

I love going to the theatre and before moving to Austin, I was very loyal to Regal Cinemas, even being a member of their loyalty club, but this location combined with other available options in Austin has tarnished my perception of Regal.

The one positive I can mention was that the young lady who checked us out at the concession stand was very kind and helpful, exercising great customer service.

Decent movie screen seating was so uncomfortable, prices are fine looks good from outside. Kind of dirty and popcorn was burnt may be m not going to order them again. It’s so near to my place so definitely visit it again otherwise will visit other cinema.

I have been here twice to and Watched Star Wars - The Last Jedi and Thor Ragnorak. My experience on both occasions has been very disappointing due to the poor audio. 

The sound bass is weak and the dialogue is barely audible. I get better sound at home which is sad. I have spoken to the staff multiple times about this and they don't seem to care about my feedback. Please let me know when this is fixed and I will come back. I would be here every WEEK because I live across the street but I can't stand how bad the sound system is here so I'd rather go to another theatre.
