Nasty!!! The toilets wouldn't flush and the bathroom was just disgusting. The employees are walking around as if they have nothing to do. They really need to do better. Visible trash under the machines. I will never take my family here again

Theatre very clean, located needed restaurants and stores. I would have given 5 stars but thought for a matinee the price was high. For a family of 4 the cost was $61.78 this was with no snacks.

I brought my little sister to the theater on a Sunday night, hoping to see a movie she and I had both wanted to see since we saw the previews for it. Her birthday was the following Wednesday, so I decided to take her out for an early birthday treat to dinner and then to see the Greatest Showman. However, when I got to the window to purchase the two tickets, I was not allowed to buy one for my sister because I am not 21, I’m only 18. I was very frustrated, because I had driven from Flowers Plantation to Garner, because I have always liked the Garner theater over the Smithfield theater. I was even more aggravated, because it seems as though whoever decided that rule was a good idea clearly did not think every possible situation through. Our parents are full time firefighters, whom we get lucky to see ten days out of the month, so we don’t always have a 21+ “adult” who can buy a ticket and then sit through a movie with us and I’m sure those teenagers who babysit or are emancipated and have younger siblings to take care of feel the same way. It was inconsiderate and rude to punish everyone seventeen under for the actions of what I’m sure were a few. I will not be returning to this theater until something is done about this ridiculous “curfew”. Garner Regal has lost my business.

This theater is very expensive and can be pretty busy. It's almost $13 for an adult ticket. Concessions are high also. I wouldn't mind this if I was getting a quality cinema-going experience but I feel like I am getting cheated whenever I go here. Many of their theater rooms seem to have dim projectors and crackly/buzzy speakers. They occasionally turn their sound up way too loud, so much so my friends and I have experienced ringing in our ears after movies here. The only positives I have for them is their employees seem friendly and they do a good job keeping the establishment clean.

Tonight my family of 5 went out to see a movie our service was great until we approached the concession area for service. First of all we were not greeted by the young man who waited on us. So I asked the young man if he was helping someone because there was a lady with her daughter off to the side of the counter. The young man looked at me wide eyed and turned his head from left to right as if he was looking to see if anyone else was there. He then looked at me and said, "No, I am not helping anyone at the moment. I would be helping you." It took everything in me not to address this young man's ignorant, smart *%$ remark. I believe my face advised him to change his dry stupid humor because he tried to quickly change his demeanor. I assumed that this may not have been the first time that this young man has acted like an idiot because a colleague looked at him as if he was crazy. Anyway, I continued to get my family's order filled and after finding seats I came back to ask for the manager on duty. Of course the manager seemed oblivious but did offer an apology. My family will never spend money at this movie theater again. Recently my daughter ordered a pizza and was sent to the end of the counter to collect. The lady making the pizza's by-passed my daughter and niece to give the pizza to another woman standing there. After waiting for the next pizza the lady decided to questioned my daughter about if she had actually paid or not. She refused to believe them and went to check out the truth with the person who rung up her order. This will be our last visit.
