This mostly failed mall has been a joke for the last decade or so, possibly longer. Most reputable mall-brand stores have closed shop and moved on.  The food court only has 3 or 4 open restaurants in it anymore, and a good number of stores are gold exchanges, and junk vendors.  

Not all hope is lost though. The mall recently changed owners who have promised to invest in the mall, and make it successful again.  They've cleaned up the lots, although they could use a repave, attracted new stores, improved signage, and begun the process of weeding out the junk sellers in favor of attracting more reputable tenants. The main anchor stores are currently leased, as are all of the out buildings around the lot loop.

It's indoors and has good echoes. It's worse than most malls at keeping stores. sometimes they have good temporary stores around the winter holidays. Mostly it just reminds you of a zombie movie. Save yourself some time and just go to the stores around it.

As they suffer from the same drop in demand for Commercial Real Estate as everyone else, it's hard not to mourn just how empty and struggling this place is. It has a few stores that are worth visiting, but the days of coming to do a large shop with varied purchases are long gone. You will need to target what you need, make that purchase, and move on. It's why most of the new development is externally facing, essentially turning this into a huge strip mall.

Although currently many storefronts are vacant, as of Oct 2017, there's hope for the future with new owners. 
My idea: Large anchor stores around the outer perimeter, as they are now. But the interior of the mall would make an excellent foodie destination: Fresh cooked foods with plenty of seating. Market shops with artisanal wares. Cheese, brats, food gift baskets, fresh meats and herbs. 
Nothing else has worked here and it's worth a shot.

It's a good mall to go to even to just window shop, like I do. If you go, stop at Misses Fields and get a cookie, you'll love it.
