I called to make a new patient appointment. First time I called it went to a voice mail with no outgoing message. I double checked the phone number. Called again, got a live person and was transferred when I said I wanted to make a new patient appointment. I was on hold for 10 minutes before getting recorded message stating they were "experiencing a high volume of calls" and to "call back later" - then disconnected.  It's 3:30 in the day.  Odd.  After reading other reviews about this issue I am concerned. Will call again tomorrow but wondering if I will have to go in person to make an appointment.

I've been here a few days now and everyone here is absolutely amazing. They are all friendly, willing to help with anything and they really know what they're doing. I was nervous to come to Detroit for therapy because it's far from my friends and family but I'm now glad I'm here. I highly recommend this hospital.

I called for a week to reschedule. No one answered the phone. Finally, I had to go there in person and I saw that people at the registration desk were just chatting and all the phones were riming. Also, there is a therapist called, Courtney, she is very careless and unskilled. She also has a rare characteristic among human beings, that is she waits until you say something, then looks at other therapists around her, then she laughs! It happens when you say something like Hi or How are you doing today!!!

I suffered a TBI and was paralyzed along with many injuries and today I am back to 99% normal function thanks to RIM. Here's my bad experience. A male nurse helped me take a shower since I could not walk (I was 20 years old at the time) and he was younger than 30. When my mom came to visit me I told her I didn't want this male nurse helping me shower so she told the staff. My last day there, in comes this male nurse to give me a shower. I told him I was going home that day so I didn't need to shower. What he did: he said he'll help me take a sponge bath. If I hadn't had just had a TBI, I would have had a fit. My brain didn't function well enough to stand up for myself. That experiencce has scarred me for life. That was seriously innappropriate. I understand he was doing his job, but I requested him not to bathe me and then he did it despite my wishes. I felt taken advantage of. Not only that, I had just suffered this horrible accident and being a coma and that's the treatment I got? (this was in 2014)
