A very passenger friendly and beautifully designed airport - compact and incredibly easy to navigate. The TSA screening process is simple, the walk to the gates are quick and the ease of boarding is a breeze - kudos to the employees who are always friendly. The rental car desks & luggage areas are adjacent to each other, another smart decision which cuts down on time & walking. The long / short term parking as well as rental car pick-up is also very close. Well done.

What a beautiful little airport. Outfitted with rustic, ski lodge accents like stone pillars, bronze art and cool blue flooring. If you look closely, you can see swimming fish! All of the rooms are nicknamed after local spots like the River Room. 

Our car rental process was super smooth at Dollar and we were given a brand new mid-size SUV for just $26 per day. Super friendly staff that asked about our travel adventures for the weekend. 

Pro Tips:
- Great outdoor clothing retailers if you forgot a fleece or beanie! 
- Tiny diner by Baggage Claim if you need a hearty bite 
- Take a look at the awesome traveling art exhibits if you are delayed

Love this airport.  One of the most convenient airports to get in-and-out of quickly.  Usually about a 10-15 minute wait at the luggage claim area.  Long term parking can be a hassle during the holidays but over all not bad.  Security always seems to be a pretty smooth process. Love Reno/Tahoe Airport.

Overall, we've always had a good experience flying in and out of here while visiting Lake Tahoe.  I like that the car rental and luggage claim are in the same area, so if you're a couple you can split duties and get out of the airport much faster.  They do a good job with the oversize luggage (skid / golf clubs).  If you like to gamble, there are games available in the terminals.  TSA has always been a breeze here and letting us use precheck.

The photos are from 2014. The displays change periodically but they have always been very good when I've traveled through here. Some eateries are high priced (no surprise at an airport) but I have found very reasonable sale items at some of the retailers. A reasonable amount of eateries are available for an airport this size. None of the gates are terribly far to reach and restrooms seem to always be within a reasonable distance. I have never had an issue with any staff within the airport. They are always polite and professional.
