Good airport for introducing new students to landing on something other than a 100 foot wide paved runway.  Years ago, I used to take my plane here to get it's yearly inspection.  That hangar seems to be missing now.  The airport was once away from any residences, but typically, land developers bought up the cheap land and sold homes to un-suspecting buyers.  Now homes are stupidly built too close to the airport at the very end of the runway.   It's only a matter of time before people near the airport will complain about the hazard, or the noise, disregarding the fact that the airport was here long before the first home was ever built!  This situation repeats itself all over this country.  Perhaps land developers should be banned from purchasing property within one mile of any airport!
