I want to start with that my waitress was nice, but after that the food was HORRIBLE! For the prices they charge I shouldn’t be served parboiled rice, the Potato salad had no taste or frozen vegetables. My chicken breast was super thin n dry. My husband snapper looked like it should of been fish jerky! And whom ever was cooking the steaks needs to be taught how to cook different cuts of beef. If you look at the pics on their website you would think it a steak house. Nope!! I should of gone with my gut feeling and walked out, but I stayed because my friend heard wonderful things about the place. Well the joke was on me. Besides that I enjoyed my company and the sangria was nice
Went here for Valentine's Day so that may have been the problem. We had so many issues. Had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time for our table. They brought the wine bottle but didn't open it. Two of the orders that were taken, were unable to be filled. All the steaks were cooked wrong. They never brought us water and rarely came back to the table. When we got our checks they were all wrong and after 3 attempts to fix them, we just paid them as they were. I have eaten at another renzo location and it was fabulous. And despite all the problems we had I would still come back to Renzo's because the food is amazing.
Food was definitely amazing. The place is quiet and quaint, perfect for a nice quiet dinner. Their house sangrias are so good, we ordered one each and shared. Service could be a little better but overall very good. Come on an empty stomach because the Parillas serve an army.
I had high hopes. I was craving a steak either flank or skirt with chimichurri. So I thought you know what ? The best place for that would be an Argentinian restaurant but boy was I wrong. It just was sub par and for the price I expected better. I ended up getting $2.50 slice of pizza the next night and that tasted better. The waitress was perfectly nice and the patio was ok. The food just didn't have flavor and was overpriced. That's $70 I wish I didn't spend. The yucca fries were bland no salt at all. The chicken breast was nothing special. My whole plate of food was not exciting to look at or eat.
Food was really good and price is very reasonable. First of all, the server didn't get his name is a very nice guy, knows everything about the food and the restaurant, very friendly and also generous gave us free empanada and dessert since it was my Husband's birthday. We had the Renzo's Parilla and all of the meat was tasty and tender. The sangria was really good too! They did not put ice in the pitcher, instead they only put ice in the glasses so you're sure that you paid for a pitcher of sangria not half ice half sangria. Definitely coming back!
Dinner for 2 got appetizers and a platter of meat. Got busy before we left, no wait when we arrived. Everything was cooked properly. Not overwhelmed by flavor but a good meal and nice service. Great value for the $.
I found a piece of metal shaving ~2 inches in my Salmon dish images attached! I called the restaurant to speak to someone so that they would be made aware privately of this as a courtesy for quality assurance/health and safety reasons. However, sadly, I was greeted by a rude and uninterested gentleman. The person answering the phone had nothing to say, I asked for the manager and/or someone of authority several times, and finally after being connected to a woman, she literally hung up on me when I asked who I was speaking with. I called again immediately but went to voicemail 3x. Finally spoke to the same gentleman before and was acting very shady, unable to tell me who I was speaking to before and to call back in 1 hour when the manager is in. This could have been a private matter, but this experience has to be known.
The service was amazing! The server helped me select a drink! It was the best red sangria I've ever had! The presentation was clean, crisp, and delicious!
Ordered from here for the first time and the food was delicious I have I had some leftover steak for the next morning and the steak was still delicious. The empanadas are really good too.
This was our first time here and we made last minute reservations on Open Table. The ambiance was great and it smelled amazing. They do not serve liquor but did have a large selection of wines. We got a pitcher of red sangria and it was well made. We ordered carpaccio and a trio of empanadas to start. The carpaccio was amazing. The table enjoyed the empanadas but I found them a bit salty. My son is nine years old but there was not a children's menu a con so we got him beans and rice also good. My husband and I split the parilla large selection of meats which is made for two see picture and comes with two sides. It was incredible. We got the russet potatoes their version of potato salad and sauted spinach. We also ordered the caprese salad which was excellent and a small palmito salad good but could have used a bit more dressing. We had Veronica as our server and she was a delight. She encouraged my father to try his Spanish and was very sweet and helpful. We did wait quite awhile after being seated before anyone came over and then quite awhile for our drinks. This could have easily set the tone for the night but we were patient. I think they must be understaffed. Overall food and ambiance was great; need a children's menu and add some staff to ensure service is consistent especially bumped up to other reviews. And ask for Veronica.. she was great.
