Sad place for reptiles, sure its a for profit organization but I was expecting a place that offered sanctuary for reptiles. The cages are the sizes of show boxes, and there is a lot of them. Even the boa constructors enclosure was small and they fit 2 in there! Enormous crocodile and alligator are sitting in small rooms with shallow pools. I felt horrible that they lived in such conditions. I would not support this place. The reptiles deserve better. Couldn't even bring myself to see the bald eagle.

I definitely enjoyed this place just as much as I did when I was little. Looking at all of the different reptiles and animals in general is pretty neat. I had forgotten that they had an area where the animals are loose and it's interesting watching them interact with people and other animals. I suggest going during the week as it wasn't overly busy while we were there.

Tons of parking. Our tickets was good for another visit while we were up here. We like the bird and snake shows. Our kids love seeing the turtles and snakes! Souvenir shop at the exit. It was a good visit overall! We were here for about 3 hours..

Lots of great memories from my childhood here! The same tortoises are still there 🤓Fall probably isn't the best time of year to visit but I wouldn't change it for anything. If you are visiting Rushmore this is definitely another stop that you should make. Their snake show us AMAZING and we got to pet a baby alligator.

Excellent experience! Turns out they do not have a petting zoo..lol. There is a lot to see, so take your time. Staff is willing to explain anything. Well worth the visit
