Everything's amazing. The room is neat, front desk is nice, and patient. It's 5 min walk to the vistor center of VT. I'm willing to stay here again.

One word says it all. AWESOME.   The accommodations were fantastic.  The staff was fabulous.   My wife and I were staying here due to our dog having surgery at VA Tech Veterinary School.   We mentioned this fact to Ashley upon checking in.  We left the hotel to get a bite of lunch and upon returning to our room, we found an envelope addressed to Titan (our 3 year Shepherd that was having surgery).  We opened the envelope to find a very sweet get well card signed by the staff.   This act of kindness brightened our stressful day.  My wife and I travel frequently and I must say this has been the best experience we have ever had.  I would highly recommend this hotel.

This Residence Inn was the most comfortable and visually appealing that I've bee to recently! Staff was very tentative and the room was magnificent. Will stop there again on my return trip.

Goods and no so goods: Arrive early for best choice of rooms...Avoid rooms 212-210, 218-220 and 312-310, 318-320 (see photo) which have ac units outside the windows - terrible design.  Constant humming all night long.  Ac units in rooms are loud too. Otherwise get a double queen suite which are a little bigger than the king and located towards the rear.  Found previous guest hair on the pillow.... Yes, Marriott has been known to have this problem. 

However, upper floors are best. It's a new hotel so everything is fresh, but there is a noticeable paint and plastic smell in the room and the hallways, so for those sensitive beware. 

Good breakfast spread with staple eggs and sausages, waffles, yogurt and basic breads.  Clean, contemporary look.
