In addition to doing an excellent job with a difficult and very old house, our experience with RBVA was a pleasure. They were extremely considerate, kept us well informed and kept the work sight clean. They were the best crew we've every worked with both in expertise and service.

Awful company. David Cooley is an arrogant jerk who would not show respect to anyone working on the project. Thinks he knows everything and would not take input or direction from owner. Avoid.

When we were looking to fix the windows in our 116-year-old home, we considered a range of options including replacement. However, we couldn't bear to lose the character of our home with new windows and knew we had to restore them. Fortunately for us, when we met Dave Cooley we knew we found someone who cared as much about our house as we did. We were on a budget and Dave worked tirelessly to help us find a restoration approach that would allow us to use our windows (which were painted shut) and protect them from the elements, all the while preserving their historic aesthetic. The crew, headed by Syd, paid great attention to detail and took great care to respect our home during the restoration. It didn't hurt that they were also fun to be around. All in all, we had a fantastic experience with RBVa, and highly recommend them to anyone looking to restore, renovate, or add to their old homes.

RBVa is consistent in the quality of work performed as well as the level of communication facilitated with client. They understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of a historic structure without compromising approach or implementation.
