Our son has been here 9 days now. We are very pleased with the caliber of the social workers and MD & RN staff. Being from NY we are also happy with how they've kept us informed of his progress.

I've been treated at the Retreat a few times (hopefully Tx there will not be necessary again, relapse is a normal but unrequired part of recovery).  The staff were always careful to administer the proper medication and the appropriate dosages.  I'm health professional myself and they're careful regulation of medication made me reassess my own practice.  One would need to be a willing participant and very skilled at manipulation to be over Rx at the Retreat.

Their in and out-patient alcohol abuse programs are most excellent.  The counselors, nurses and doctors are compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and more than competent.

Safety was never a concern and the food is great.
