I was there for an endoscopy. I cannot give enough praise to the nurses, anesthetist, and doctor who participated in this procedure. They were professional, kind, good-humored, and caring. The procedure went off smoothly and quickly, and they deserve the five stars!
I have had to visit the ER three times in the past 7 months. Two of those by ambulance in very rough shape. I couldn't say enough positive things about all of the doctors and nurses that saw me right away. I'm happy we have this hospital close by.
My trip to the ER was on June 10th of this year. The quick thinking of the doctors and nurses there that day saved my life. In less then an 45 minutes they discovered I had a aortic dissection. They called D.A.R.T, which was there in less then 10 minutes. I was brought to Dartmouth for emergency open chest surgery which saved my life! Aortic dissection is overlooked by so many hospitals and people die. Springfield Hospital my be small but they are mighty!
There are so many negative experiences in four day stay, would horrify anyone. Would rather die on my way to Dartmouth then ever go there again! I was the mistreated party,I am not asking anything, if you really want to fix this you know how to reach me this is on you.
This is the absolute worst hospital to go to in an emergency. 0/10 the only people that actually do their jobs are the secretaries.
This place is dangerous. Stay away! Getting worse by the day! A week to get them to fill a simple prescription unbelievable amount of phone calls. And once their incompetence hits the weekend "Sorry you'll have to go to the emergency room, we don't fill prescriptions on weekends" Just don't even have a word!
I never go to the hospital unless I'm just about dying. Last night, I went to the ER. My experiences with ER staff at other hospitals haven't always been great so I was nervous. My anxiety was quickly put at ease. The staff is super friendly and we're sensitive to my needs and understanding of my history and current situation. I could not have asked for a better team! Thanks so much, guys. You did great!
We had a very good experience at Springfield hospital. We went to the emergency room for my sons symptoms of a concussion. The administration services admissions woman was quick to get our info, and compassionate. The nurses were prompt and thorough, very comforting. The APRN was very informative and super thorough answering all of our questions. It truly was a great experience for a scary traumatic issue we were having. The waiting room was empty and quiet when we got there - so take that into consideration. But I would still highly recommend.
Can't stand the hospital made us sit for 2 hours in the waiting area while my husband told them when we went in that he was having chest pains shortness of breath I said something all they say is sorry horrible place
I came in with a broken leg straight off Okemo Mountain and could. It have been treated better. The staff was wonderful and I am on my way to a full recovery. Thank you Springfield! - Max
