I am at my early 20s, and I had been working out my whole life until I came to America, plus getting married recently; therefore gained a significant weight, 273lbs from 200lbs within three years. 
I did not have any motivation until I joined the gym and started training with one of the finest instructors. If you want to get fit and healthy, find the gentleman whose name is Ryan. I have been working out with Ryan almost a month now, am around 264~266lbs. Yes it takes efforts! Heard a lady lost 20 or 30 lbs within 3 or 4months with this man. 
Folks, I was shameful too with my body, And I realized that I deserved to be like one of those fit individuals, am not talking about those really jacked and buff people. Don't really want to brag about my trainer but Ryan will help you find the joy in working out.. He is punctual, humorous and friendly. Trust me, it is an investment on your body and worth it.

I've been a member of retro for about 5 years and my bf has been a member for almost 6. For the most part we've both really enjoyed retro as our gym, the staff has always been friendly and helpful as well as the members. However, yesterday while training, my bf was told not to slam a weight by a trainer who recently became employed by retro. During their interaction, the trainer got in my bf's face and threatened to punch him, stating that he's "hood"....my bf being the bigger person walked away and attempted to discuss the matter with the manager, Sara, who did nothing but tell him it was word against word. Not once did she attempt to look at the cameras. For this reason we will be looking for a different gym to call ours... all because one of your employees want to be ignorant...way to treat your long time members!

Bodybuilding is something I am very passionate about and I feel like I am able to obtain my goals when I train at Retro. It is important to put the work and dedication in yourself but getting to train in a friendly open enviroment like Retro is very exciting. My trainer Jason helps me push what I can do with my body to the next level. Jason is an excellent trainer with much knowledge about bodybuilding and powerlifting or whatever your fitness goals may be. He is dedicated to helping and motivating you in and out of the gym, he provides me with workouts for the intensive 6 days a week that I train and has been a huge help on giving me the correct form on heavy lifts. I couldn't be happier with my experience training with Jason and would suggest that anyone looking to improve their physique should talk about training with Jason.

I signed up for the month to month memebership specifically because I wanted to be able to cancel at ANY time. Well apparently retro fitness doesn't respect this agreement and decides to charge you for several months after you cancel. The front desk staff was very unhelpful and rude, and incredibly unknowledgable. Very dissapointed.

Gym is ok for the price. Don't like the staff so much. Not very welcoming to all its members. Main issue I have, is the facility is not kept clean and so much of the equipment is broken or run down and management doesn't seem to care about replacing it. I could see why this Gym was featured on Undercover Boss.
