While the food is good, the service is AWFUL.
We got our first round of drinks and they took our food order. After they brought out our food its like they forgot we existed. 
It was obvious our drinks were empty, but the servers would just fly by our table without even a glance. After 15 minutes I was finally able to call someone over as she was walking past, and I asked her if we could order more drinks. Her response was to give us a nasty look, and then say "Uh, oook, what do you want?"
After getting these drinks, it took another 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us when they started clearing our plates. Then another 20 before we got our checks.
And on top of all this they only gave us one tiny bowl of chips and salsa for five people.

I love Mexican food and this is my go to spot. Staff is very nice and they have a huge menu selection

Best cheap Mexican food in the Pgh area.  We have been fans of the New Ken and Monroeville (nee Penn Hills) locations for several years.   It's not Mad Mex quality-wise, but it's not Mad Mex price-wise, either.  It's good basic "Midwestern American Mexican" eats.

Food was great but the service was not. It took 15 minutes for someone to seat us when the restaurant was empty. Every time we needed anything all the servers would avoid eye contact. We had to ask for our check several times. This was the first and last time here.

Went on Father's Day, had reservation, place was busy. Got seated quickly, even though we had one extra to seat. Good service, great food!! Extensive menu, something for everyone!
