Beautiful art. You get a lovely view of the campus while walking to the gallery. Love that some of the art is student art!!

Small intimate space, curated by a very creative team that brings some amazing work. The small room is not a limitation to the huge creative inspiration that you will find at Rice Art Gallery

The use of this extremely intimate space can get pretty creative. I love how small it is with the (endless) possibility of holding so much potential and talent. 

The current exhibition, "Intersections," was a very pleasant experience as the artist, Anila Quayyum Agha, creatively uses light, cast shadow and geometrics for her art. 

The gallery itself is situated inside Rice University, which conveniently has a shuttle bus that loops around the campus for ease of commute (FREE). So if you parked on the wrong side of the campus, just head towards the small road that circles around the campus, look for a "BUS STOP" sign on the curb of the street and wait for the shuttle to pick you up. 

I believe it only heads one direction but the campus seems small enough for the shuttle to come back around pretty quickly should you miss it the first time around.
