I brought a ring to a jewerly store in port charlotte. I was told it was 10 k gold (when it was purchased it was said to be 14k). He told me if i wanted to sell it,  a fair price would be $500.  To get another opinion I brought it to Rick's for an insurance appraisal. He did a scratch test on the ring and said it definitely is 14k. I now have a document for insurance purposes that states my 14k ring is valued at over $3000. Glad I didn't trust the other store.  I do trust Rick and will give him my future business.

I came to the store looking to sell my and my partners wedding bands from our respective previous marriages. The gentleman who helped me was kind, personable, and understanding. He was thorough and took his time with each piece as well as informing me. Just from the very brief interaction with his wife I saw, I could tell they were genuine. It made me feel so much better about an emotionally taxing event and I was very happy with the transaction.

After my divorce I held onto my diamond for quite a while.  My biggest fear was that I would not find someone who  had a business buying Estate jewelry who was honest and possesed integrity.  Well my fears were unfounded.  

When I decided the time had come to sell my diamond I searched the internet for places who buy Estate jewelry.  I asked around also to see what friends had to say.  Well Rick's Estate & Jewelry Buyers name came up several times.  I read the reviews and decided this was the place for me to go.

I called the day before and spoke to Robin who was very nice and seemed to be very well informed as to the process.  I stopped in the next day and met Rick and Robin.  The store is in a nice location and is well stocked and state of the art.

What might have been a painful experience was made easier by Rick's expertise and knowledge of diamonds and jewelry.  We came upon a price which I felt was fair and the whole exchange was over in 1/2 hour.

I would highly recommend if you want a classy, well informed, honest place to sell your Estate jewelry this is the place!  Also, they are well stocked with diamond rings which are nicely displayed and I feel competitively priced.

I have been exceedingly impressed with the selection, quality, pricing, and customer service at Rick's, and love to stop in to browse whenever I'm in the area! It's like a fabulous estate jewelry treasure hunt, with the added bonus of Eric's expertise and Robin's friendly service. Rick's is my first stop for unique pieces and all my jewelry and stone-related questions. If you haven't stopped in yet, you must!

Every experience I've had at Rick's has been amazing. They have such a beautiful and unique selection of jewelry. Their pricing is very reasonable and they have the best customer service. Eric and Robin are friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend if you are looking for something sparkly or if you have jewelry you'd like to sell. They are top notch!
