I come 7 minutes before closing, and they have the most welcoming attitude I have ever encountered..The entire family (the wife and kids were there, waiting on Papa to close the shop) they were so sweet, they acted like they were more happy to see me than my own family.
The food is ALWAYS delicious, hot, and they make it just the way I ask for it (special order).
This restaurant may not be the best "looking" place, but it is always CLEAN and the service makes up for everything. 
For my late night suppers, I always choose Rico's. And if YOU are looking for a place that has good food, great and SPEEDY service you need to try Rico's too!!

My wife and i come to Virginia Beach three to four times per year and always eat at Rico's Subs & Tacos. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The prime rib sandwhich alone is worth a visit and the brownie sundae for dessert makes it complete. We recommend it highly.

Best steak and cheese around always gives you plenty of fries 
And the best grilled chicken salad ever!!!! Better than ghassans or the Greek restaurant down the road
