First meal in Miami after getting off the airport and it was a little disappointing. The steak was hard and the meal was not at all what I had read on the menu. The bread was amazing but I didn't know what to eat it with. They don't speak much English, either so it was hard to communicate. The server was nice, though. She's why I gave it two stars.
First time here for me! Always wanted to stop in because it's always busy so I figured there would be a reason why. My visit started out so so because the waitresses were a little stressed. This was due to the amount of customers and also a broken coffee machine and the electricity acting up causing extra delays. When I arrived I sat at the counter. I was not greeted for about 2 to 3 minutes and only because I waved my hand. My intention was only to ask for a menu. When she saw me she told me that I had to wait because there were people in front of me waiting to be serviced. I was starving so I didn't let this deter me. Plus I figured she was stressed. So I waited a few more minutes. Finally she comes to me this time with a smile she asks me how she can help me. I asked for a menu. My quickly figured out what I wanted to eat and gave her my order. After this she was more attentive and nicer overall. The food took a little longer than expected to receive but nothing too outrageous. I ordered "Desayuno a tu gusto". This is what we know of has two eggs your way. I ordered them scrambled with ham. Breakfast comes with your choice of ham, bacon, sausage , coffee with milk, Cuban toast, and either french fries or House potatoes or tater tots. It was worth the wait. Everything was delicious. They managed to stay afloat, stay positive and tend to all the customers despite the electrical issues and w broken espresso machine.
Food was good. Excellent service. Chicken fingers were too stale. But other than that the other main dishes were delicious.
Good food great prices simple and comfortable place so what's not to like
Cuban restaurant with lunch especial. Parking is limited. Service ok and tasty food.
We were a party of six. One ordered a chicken salad, another ordered grilled fish and two others ordered breaded fish. The chicken salad was the first to be served about 45 minutes later and was cold. At this point I noticed people who came in way after us were already eating their entrees. About 10 minutes later, three identical fish dishes came out but none were breaded nor grilled. When we asked, waitress said that they don’t prepare the fish that way even though breaded fish is on the menu and she took our order that way. About 10 minutes later my girlfriend got the salad she ordered which looked awful and she hated. I never got my order and everyone was already ready to leave so ended up having to cancel my order and leave without eating
My 2nd time having breakfast here. Friendly bilingual staff. Warm atmosphere with good food. Hot lunch served as well. In the area? You gotta visit and enjoy.
Best Latin cuisine at a reasonable price quick service and great service and good coffee
Fairly decent and moderately priced...would have been 5 stars if the chicken soup had more chicken! The portions are HUUUUGE, took me 3 days to finish off my order of picadillo and chicken soup.
Farewell Rinconcito. This used to be a great restaurant. During Covid they kept open then closed for renovations. Then last week I noticed they reopened. I was happy to get food again from here. I ordered over the phone in advance since I remember it took some time for the food to be “made”. Oh boy, I was very wrong. As soon as I walk in , I notice that there were only 2 ladies serving the whole restaurant. Gone are the 4+ ladies doing cafecito . Also gone is the guy making sandwiches unless they make it on the back of the kitchen. I ask for my food to which the lady tells me , it’s not ready yet. Uhmm ok . There was plenty of time between my call and my arrival . Then she proceeds to grab a to go box . Now the food is pre-made . Fries, grilled chicken breast is there just kept warm made who knows when . Probably an hour sitting there . I also asked for a passion fruit drink thinking I’ll get the big to go glass like before. No, it’s a 12oz coffee cup where they gave me the juice. Honestly I felt robbed . When I got home, the fries were horrible. And the chicken breast abismal flavor and dry. I DO NOT recommend this place anymore. The food is not made fresh. Now they have a buffet like by the pound food where they serve it. It’s a shame this restaurant went down the drain. Avoid it at all costs.
