Founded in 1982 as the honors program for Rider University’s School (now College) of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Baccalaureate Honors Program (BHP)currently enrolls students from programs across the University on both the Lawrenceville and the Princeton campuses. In keeping with the founders' original intentions, the varied array of interdisciplinary, team-taught courses that are the heart of the program engage many of the University’s most ambitious and most intellectually curious students in examining enduring questions and investigating current problems that cross traditional curricular boundaries. Rider’s Reunion Weekend in June 2011 marked the first gathering of the BHP Alumni Affinity group, an event intended to be the first of many such reunions. Through this page, BHP alums are invited to share news, build a resource network, and stay up to date with new developments in the program, including opportunities for alumni involvement as auditors of courses, participants in study-tours, guest presenters at campus events, etc.
