This campground is one of our favorites.   It is quiet and clean, has two very nice playgrounds within the campground, and the paved loop is great for riding bikes.    It is just a hop, skip and a jump from Burnsville Dam and docks.   The lake actually connects Riffle Run to Bulltown Campground(both run by Army Corp of Engineers.)   We see lots of fisherman there and once spotted an Eagle and a black bear in the lake.   Personally, I like the fact that it is close to I-79 and I get a cell signal there (but I dont at Bulltown.)  They don't take reservations but we have always been fortunate to get a spot.    You won’t be disappointed!

This was good place to stop for the night.  Not too far from the highway.  Reasonable prices and clean bathrooms.
