On Facebook, I recently posted a link to a story, with the question "Why are we celebrating nepotism?" I was attacked by Samantha Sanchez, formerly Samantha Dominguez, apparently the wife of one of the brothers I posted my queries about. Vile, and violent -- a perfect demonstration of why people are loathe to interact with police, except when absolutely necessary. I responded in kind, and was threatened, and had my criminal history run, and posted online -- it's been deleted, but, this is not only unethical, but illegal. While I rarely have reason to go to Rio Rancho, I DO now have reason to become an activist in said county, to fight nepotism and illegal use of power to harass and threaten citizens.

A bunch of punks and racists. Have you ever been to any gym and have experienced that one meathead that ego lifts and intimidates and bullies other patrons? Well he became a cop at RRPD and is still juicing it and invited all his friends to join him. They are going to get those Mexicans, Arabs, and brown people, and make Rio a Rancho white again! Pay to play! You betcha! Good old RedFlex, which is the one of the most patriotic Australian American companies ever has decided to join forces with RRPD and deputize some vans! I miss the days of the good old pinkertons!

Not impressed at all by the intelligence of the majority of the Officer's. I had to deal with a few due to tenant issues and there was only a couple that seemed educated. Most are fairly polite, would be nice to have some smarts behind them as well.

Have have had nothing but great interactions with Rio Rancho Police. Was just in an accident and he was extremely patient , listened to everyone and was very nice. They always say hi to my girls an wave at them when we pass them on the roads. I always roll down the windows so the girls can wave. They love police officers and get excited when they see a woman officer. I'm proud to support all police , but I believe Rio Rancho has the bet ones! ;)

I've I interacted twice with RRPD recently. Once when they responded to a false home security alarm at my home and then when I was involved in a vehicle accident last night. I had two or more police officers on scene within minutes both times. They were strictly professional yet polite and friendly. They are indicative of the best and brightest NM has to offer. Kudos and 6 out of 5 Stars.
