I am not a fan of the idea of food as art, which is why I love cheap Mexican food. But I was staying at the lodge for a work thing and this was open late and close by. I did not have high hopes. But it turned out to be one of the tastiest experiences I have ever had. It also taught me that artsy looking food can taste great, too.

Place was sparse and filthy. We were informed that we had to sit against the front wall due to the noise from a small bar group which seemed pretty clearly to be a poker game, the table we were seated at had a Togo box on the table and food smeared on a majority of the tabletop itself. There were napkins on the floor as well as what appeared to be chicken bones... No thanks, and what a shame that blueberry mole sounded OK outstanding, but as filthy as it was up front I don't wanna imagine the back of house.

This place is quite expensive for mediocre food. The portions are also rather small. $15 for two small enchiladas. If you're hungry, I'd recommend eating before you go.

This is THE place to eat in sisters. The most amazing Mexican we have had in the PNW. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My mom has a cilantro allergy and they went out of the way to accommodate her. And the food, oh man the food. You just cant beat it. Eat here. Now. Edit: Came back here a year later and was blown away again! Food, service, and atmosphere were all great.
