I like rite aid because they sometines have discounts on makeup and things for less but when stuff is not on sale or clearance they are a bit high that a said they do carry a wide variety of cosmetic s which I love and as seen on tv product also sometimes I will pay higher price just because its within walking distance from my home .

I had a great customer service experience here.. I don't take prescriptions though so i wouldn't know how the pharmacy is.

Absolutely horrible pharmacy experience. I was visiting from out of town and went to an urgent care for extreme back pain. The Dr wrote me 3 prescriptions and said she would call them in and they should be ready within an hour. I showed up at this rite aid 2 hours later and they hadn't even started or looked at them! I have never ever been to a pharmacy where they would get a prescription in and not start working on it. He then proceeded to tell me that I would have to wait an additional 45 mins for them to be filled because there was another person ahead of me that just walked up with a prescription. Okay, I'll come back. I come back two hours later again and handed him my insurance card. He says he will have to run it but once again there are people ahead of me. What!? Every other pharmacy I have ever been to would walk it to the computer, run it, and bring it back. It takes no time at all. So I sit there for 30 mins in the office and finally I have to leave for my dinner reservations and he says, "oh well can you wait a little longer because he is having trouble and may need more information." Really? You couldn't ask me that info when I was sitting 2 feet away for 30 mins? So I leave and get a call at dinner saying it's ready and I need to hurry and come get it because they close in 20 mins! Wow. I couldn't make it there in 20 mins so I had to wait until Monday morning to pick up my pills while in extreme pain. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone. There is an albertsons down the street, take your prescriptions there. My prescription was called in at 9-10 am and it took until 9am the next morning to get them. And there were three other people there the last time I tried to pick up that had nothing but bad things to say when I asked if this was normal for that location . This is my first time reviewing a business so that should tell you something. More training or complete retraining is needed.
