Pros: convenient location, decent pricing  (comparable to other stores in the area), decent selections. Cons: the manager seems unfriendly and disinterested in trying to become the community drug store. Their vibe is the complete opposite of that of Trader Joe's two doors down. The other Rite Aid on Del Mar Heights Road isn't necessarily  more friendly, but at the very least they're more neutral, not unfriendly. I do not shop there unless I have to.

Today was the most amazing day at the Rite Aid. First I was greeted by the most amazing Pharmacists Nikki who walked me through all my medications to ensure I was comfortable and had complete knowledge of what I was taking and how to take it.  She even was concerned about the reason why I was taking these New meds This was to ensure I knew the ins and outs of the meds.    
BTW she’s way hot!!
Best pharmacist ever!!!! 

Then to my surprise Emily was there for a few days while school was out.  She too greeted me with a huge hug.  One day she’ll run the place and everyone loves her.

A special thanks to Genia and Chi-May also very cute ladies. They also have been top of game making sure I was all taken care of.. super duper friendly.  You’ll absolutely love them.

Pharmacy is super slow and inefficient, constantly redirects the customer to call the insurance company instead of resolving issues themselves. Avoid.

The pharmacy here is a joke. Came in tonight to fill a perscription and they said that even though they had it in stock, they could not fill it since they were "about to close and too busy". It was 7:30 (they dont close until 8) and there was one other person there. Another time I went here they texted me telling me my perscription was ready and when I went to pick it up they said the text was sent too soon and had me wait another 45 minutes while they filled it.
