I recently moved back to Truckee and after reading there reviews I am very suprised. I was a customer here before I moved and have always had great customer service,  also the pharmacy people have been extremely helpful. Once again they were fantasic. I will be there customer again. Oh and i was VERY happy to be able to now buy the brand of organic milk I  love, thank you Rite Aid.

My doctor inrstructed me to  have the pharmacy send my doctor of request form if I ran out of my prescription early. Well I ran out of my prescription and experiencing withdrawl early, so mom called​ the pharmacy. The pharmacist told my mother that I must have been abusing my prescription because I should have had more. Which that in itself was so unprofessional and really upset my mom that they would say something like that when that couldn't even be further from the truth. I have special conditions along with​ a routine in which I take my medication, and instead of helping me, they told my mom there was nothing they were going to do. I went through a night of pain and sleeplessness with work in the morning. When I called my Dr. The next morning and told him what happened, he was so shocked they didnt at least call him. He said they need to send me a request right now and he will have my meds right away for me. So my mom called the pharmacy again, the managers response was well I'll send it now so what's the problematic​.  As mom my explained that instead of doing what they were supposed to do the night before,  I had to go sick all night and in pain, while I have work in the morning. He continued to respond with well I'll send it now so what's the problem. Rude, rude, rude! Will never go back!

After multiple experiences at this pharmacy involving "your prescriptions are ready.... oh wait, we can't find them" or "your docotor's office never called us" or "yeah, we can fill that here" only to be left wasting our time and frustrated we are absolutely done with this place once and for all. And the lack of compassion and customer service here is atrocious. They have one job, take orders and filll them. Doesn't seem too challenging. We're done.

This place has the worst customer service. And the bathrooms are a dump and dirty and disgusting. And the pharmacy is a joke. They gave me a garbage bag to put my meds in because they had no bags
