It a very good store and the manager excellent individual. The workers are kind and diligent. The store serves the community and struggling students at Columbia and poor.  The store is closing!  I hope the Rite Aid company open another venue in the area. And serves the community with the same service and affordable prices.

Last Thursday, I came to this Rite Aid to inquire about the three prescriptions my doctor had electronically submitted earlier that day. I was assisted by an impressively ill-mannered employee who snapped at me to return in the evening to pick up my medications. When I asked her to double check that the pharmacy had my medications in stock, she grudgingly hammered away at her keyboard and confirmed that one of them needed to be ordered. I was instructed to return the following day to pick it up (then promptly shooed away), and so I did—only to be told that they not only forgot to place the order but also could not place the order and could not transfer my prescription to another pharmacy.

Stopped by to pick up something small.  We arrived 30 minutes ago, and we're still waiting in line.  The line wraps around the back.  One person at the register, but there are five checkout counters. One patron in the front asking to speak to a manager, but it seems he/she is not here or afraid to face the angry crowds.  In addition, the store is messy.  I will definitely not be returning even if I need something in the future.

The lines are incredibly long. there are rarely enough people at the check-out count. There are always one or two people eating lunch or dinner at the busiest time of day (between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m.), when everyone comes from work and just wants to go home.
