The women at the coffee counter are super friendly. The food is delicious and it's the best place in town to get my morning caffiene.

I love the cozy and warm environment of River and Rail. The food may sound weird but everything I've tried is amazing. They even have vegan options! I am not a vegan but I've tried some of their vegan friendly options and it's really good! Everyone I've met there is really nice and down to earth!

A regular spot for great coffee and bread. The best Focaccia you'll ever have.

Only bread bakery in the area that I know of. Kim Baker runs a great little place. The Coffee is good, the bread is very good. I really like some of the pastries such as the Chocolate Croissant and the Apple Galette. They also serve lunch with a solid vegetarian selection if you lean that way.

My wife decided that she likes to support local businesses for the amount of money it truly adds to the economy, supports local jobs, and gives an alternate outlet from the chain set ups. So, when we wanted a quick pre-work breakfast for just ourselves (without the kids that is), she chose this place. It is a friendly little joint in the middle of the Huntington Rail station and what is not to like? Right? Well I found out on this first ever visit that their breakfast menu has 3 items: A veggie Quiche, A Bacon & Egg Quiche, and a PB&J San'wich. That's it. I guess if I wanted #3, I could make it at home. They do have coffee and a few different types of artisan breads & sweets like danishes on display. There is a lunch menu of a few different types of sandwiches of a slightly longer list than the breakfast one - did not try them obviously at breakfast. There is a small seating area and you get plastic cups for self-serve water ... The quiche I chose was fresh and fine & comes with a bowl of fresh fruit. But the entire package deal of a breakfast place with some "life" to it was rather missing. No bustle, if that is what you crave. No choices, if that is what you crave. This is a small town, made smaller by places like this. So, if you are looking for a quiet place with very limited (not bad, but, people from the city would be hard pressed to dig this) options, then, by all means, this is good. The place does seem to have regulars, going by what I noticed. The regulars appear to be from Marshall University which is what rules this town. Apart from that, I think you have all you need to know about this place.
