I had seen there display and was given a free sample at shockacon and it was less than ideal. I tried to give it another shot and had gone to their store and needless to say that I was less than impressed with the quality of their product. The even have an image on their wall that had looked familiar. I had done my own personal research and come to find out that they are using and marketing the use of my friend's artwork without the proper permission as they claim it's theirs. But after the poor product, poor representation, theft and trying to accuse the artist of violating the law I'm sure to not ever go there again and I'd advise others to do the same

I give it one star only because I have to to leave a review. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They were supposed to do my wedding cake, five days prior to my wedding she calls asking how far of a walk it would be.Apparently 4 five minute trips back and forth was too long of a walk to deliver a $500 dollar cake. For $500 they shoulve watched me smash the cake with a smile. But being the nice woman my mother is she suggested a smaller cake with matching cupcakes which she agreed to, then wanted it picked up, even though we had already paid for delivery. And she wanted us to pick it up 2 days before the wedding, it would have been dry and old by then.

I'm not even sure I would give this one star except the cake was delivered.  I would and will not recommend this bakery for any wedding event.  My regret is that we did not look at the reviews.  A true lesson learned.  The cake was not made to spec.  It had A crease in the top layer, was leaning, the colors were not what was ordered, the back was suppose to be grey with a solid color Batman. symbol which was black and looked like a child poured paint down the back.  It was a heavy cake and I question the flavors.  When I questioned the designer, her reply was that we changed the design ... Not true.  It was very amateur at best.  More like a child's birthday cake.  I'm so disappointed.  I would have been better off to had Glade Resort NY pastry chef to make the cake and spend more money.  My daughter's wedding was an eloquent wedding.... I had the florist to place flowers on it to dress it up.  And, I was quoted one price for the cake with a delivery fee and ended up paying over $100 more.  What is unbelievable, the designer never offered if there was anything they can do to make it up.... Does it surprise you????  Do not use this service!!!

Our wedding cake was not worth the money we paid for it. Not only did she mess up the design of the cake and made excuses for it but also quoted us high 500$ and we paid low $700. I was very clear in the first meeting we had with her and the second phone call I had with her that the back opening of the cake was to have a GRAY back and a very specific batman symbol which I messaged her via text. She said the design had changed and that the original was better. First off only one thing changed and instead of two smooth tiers they had a slightly different design. Literally not a huge difference. She put a black back with the incorrect batman symbol which is blatently different then what I sent her. She either lost all those notes she was taking or conveniently  said her wedding day is today I got them right where I want them even though it's not right. I told her twice infront of two different people the design I wanted. do not use her for your wedding, she will swindle you of your money, will not try to make it right , poor customer service, and yes I do have a screen shot of the text I sent her of the correct design she still lied and took no responsibility. Poor poor place to go. Never again

If you are considering hiring Sweet Confections to cater your wedding, save yourself precious time and money; take your business elsewhere. Unless you like frozen food that's overcooked (frozen hamburgers that look like oatmeal cookies), "fruit salad" that's consists of random fruit thrown together (complete with brown apples), and grocery store coleslaw. The images on their Facebook page are also misleading and "their" images can be traced to other businesses by doing a reverse image search.
