Open since 1995, River City Coffee & Cafe offers a wide variety of coffee and espresso drinks. Featuring beans roasted by Doma from Coeur d' Alene and White Cloud from Boise. River City scratch bakes fresh pastries every morning. Scones, muffins, cookies, and other baked goods made daily. Serving breakfast and lunch all day.

Scones are outstanding and made from scratch everyday. Be sure to add a fruit bowl ($1.50) to your sandwich. Today it contained blackberries, raspberries, cantaloupe grapes, orange sections, and blueberries. The BLT was 2" high.

River City is a nice locally owned business. Today was a complete fail. New guy took the order for the three of us then brought two meals after a bit of time. "I will bring the other dish in a minute". 15 minutes later we had to ask for it. We were told that they forgot. They​ were busy. It had been sitting and was cool. We go to River City every other week for Sunday breakfast. Worst service was today. My response was to stop going there but my daughter asked for a more measured response. We will go back as my last review was 4 stars.

Purchased a ham and cheese sandwich cost with tax came to $8.43. The bread is old and dry and I had 2 slivers of ham and a cheddar cheese that looked not the same color as each slice. Don't purchase the ham and cheese sandwich here you will be disappointed

Their satellite cafe at the Boise Airport is rediculous. Bottled water is over $4. I asked the employee how much per hour they were making and they said minimum wage. How do you keep paying your employees minimum, but justify a $4 water? That isn't business, that's unethical on every level!

Late breakfast, we shared 1/2 order bicuit & gravy, croisant breakfast sandwich so yummy. Staff are friendly and efficient🤗
