After being in pain for about a year and having already tried a cortisol shot, chiropractic, massage, and other PT I found River City Physical Therapy. My pain was in my back and referred down my leg and kept me from doing normal daily activity as well as the things I love to do. When I saw a video posted by River City Physical therapy I asked a question and the response was immediate and helpful so I thought I would give it a try. I was immediately impressed by the care I received as I was given a holistic evaluation where I was listened to and my concerns were addressed. As opposed to being one of many patients in the room, I was the only patient during the appointment time and each week the treatment plan was adjusted to meet me where I was. Within just a few weeks I noticed significant improvement allowing me to return to kickboxing, high intensity workouts, and tennis. I would absolutely recommend River City Physical Therapy. The Dr. is competent and professional but also seems to care about his patients. For me the thing that completely set this physical therapist apart was how trauma-informed he was in his practice. As a survivor of trauma, it can be challenging at times to go into an office and be assessed by someone you do not know. The entire time I was being treated I felt safe, respected, and cared for well. I went in to get better physically but feel that I also was cared for emotionally. I truly cannot say enough good about the care I was given.

Nick I am sending a special note your way to say thank you for excellent care. After just a few minutes of talking to me, you gave me a few exercises to do daily and convinced me if I did them my neck would feel better. After our very first therapy session, I was amazed at the decrease in my pain. I appreciated you following up with me every few days to see how I was feeling and if I was continuing with my exercises. It's been over a month and I continue with the simple exercises you taught me to do. Nick is very knowledgeable and professional. He genuinely cares about people. I highly recommend River City Physical Therapy. Brandy

I started seeing Dr. Nick for lower back pain I had suddenly developed after a fall. I had been dealing with the pain for over three months and was unable to run or continue my active lifestyle. I noticed a difference after two weeks of working with Nick, and was able to start running after 5 weeks. Nick is professional, approachable and always available between sessions to answer any questions or concerns. I recommend Nick over other physical therapists because he works with his clients one on one and truly cares about getting you the results you want. Thanks Nick!

I have dealt with lower back pain for nearly 5 or 6 years now from past sporting injuries. The pain made it very difficult to sit in a car to travel long distances and I gave up some of my favorite sports. I was recommended River City Physical Therapy by my local priest and I am very happy that I came here. Dr. Nick is very knowledgeable and even after only 1 visit I was already able to feel a difference. I met with Dr. Nick for about 2 months and he taught me a personalized exercise plan that has minimized my back pain and has allowed me to get back into road-trips and sports I haven't played in years. I would highly recommend Dr. Nick to anyone struggling with lingering pains and that want to get back into the activities they have missed out on.

I met Dr. Nick at a Low Back Pain presentation he was conducting. I've been suffering on and off for 3 plus years with sciatica and other back, hip and leg pain due to herniated discs and other injuries. I have tried orthopaedics, chiropractors, and several medicines for treatments with varying degrees of success, none of them permanent. I went to the presentation thinking sciatica had returned, but Dr. Nick changed my mind and I went to him for physical therapy. He was immediately able to pinpoint the cause, and after 4 weeks, 8 treatments and a lot of specific site exercises, I'm about 95% pain free. Doing the exercises not only stopped the sharp stabbing pains in my leg, it also stopped the dull, achy weak feeling in my low back and butt. There have even been days when I've been running late and skipped the exercises, and even those days have been pain free. Obviously, I've been well pleased with Dr. Nick's results. I'll probably go back to him to see if he can do anything about my arthritic shoulder. This getting old is not much fun!
