We are a full service physical therapy office specializing in women's health. Our physical therapists and physical therapist assistants will work with you to overcome anything from normal wear and tear injuries such as back and shoulder pain, to pelvic pain, urinary incontinence and constipation - all with the most cutting-edge therapies. We proudly offer hands on, manual therapy, one-on-one care, which means your physical therapist will only be taking care of and focusing on you during your appointment time - no matter what your diagnosis is! I would recommend Smartbody. They were very professional and nice. I went after having pelvic surgery and they helped me recover to a better state I was in than before my surgery. Dr Sara Sohn was warm and friendly. She treated me well and helped me to not feel embarrassed about anything. Her and her staff even taught me diet and nutrition in such a way to help with my pelvic floor issues. The front desk handled my billing and insurance to my satisfaction. They were transparent about what wasn't covered by my insurance ahead of time. Thanks Smartbody for helping me feel better than I thought I could!

I wasn't happy with my first 3 intial visits and when they called me to make my next one I explained that zo wasn't satisfied with the services. They called me back the next day and asked me to come back and to try the owner as my theripist instead and that maybe we weren't a good match.  I was up to doing that until I suggested that for my time wasted that they only charge my insurace company for the make up visits and not be require me to pay my $40 copay again for the next 3 visits, they wouldn't do it. I made comment to them that if I fixed their car and they weren't happy with the repairs being done would you be willing to pay me for the bill all over again. They said this was different. Yes it was as I was still allowing them to get paid through my insurance, an auto repair would have got nothing. I didnt think I was asking for that much. I couldn't believe what I was hearing as their whole business is based on word of mouth referrals.  Do you mean that it is more important to you to get my $40 then it is to get nothing at all, lose a customer and get to get a bad review. She hung up on me.

I later learned at my next doctor's visit as they were the one who referred me to them, that they called him to try and save face. He said I had no idea no idea what they were even talking about you never mentioned this to me. I guess they were afraid of getting a bad review.

I can't say enough good things about Laura Bunso. She is very knowledgeable, insightful and hard-working.  A 16-visit intensive physical therapy course resulted in such significant improvement, that I didn't think was ever possible.  Thanks to Laura, I now know how to do the Kegel exercises correctly and can actually use them to improve pelvic floor strength.  She also has a wonderful team working for her - everyone was very friendly and professional.

When I came to Smart Body PT I had serious doubts if would ever be able to ride my bicycle long distance ever again. After months of highly skilled and individualized treatment, I am now riding again almost pain free! I am so grateful! I cannot say enough for their professionalism, skill and caring. Special thanks to Laura and Jennifer who were great in designing a plan for me which has worked like a charm! I would recommend anyone with pelvic floor issues to seek them out. Excellent service! I can now go back to leading the healthy and fun lifestyle I have always enjoyed.
